But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them?
And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent?

Our Story

Chris and Jamison on their first missions trip together.

The idea for HelpSendMe came to life when my son Jamison and I needed to raise support to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic with our church. The thought of writing, printing and mailing out all the support letters we would need to send to family and friends seemed daunting, expensive and very old-fashioned.

Surely, there had to be a better way.

So instead of writing a letter, I created a page on a crowdfunding site to try and raise the money and sent the link to my entire email list (over 1200 people). In a short amount of time we were fully funded! No stuffing envelopes or licking stamps and no waiting for people to send checks. We also saved hundreds of dollars because we didn't have to buy stamps, envelopes, paper, and ink. Best of all, we could post updates, pictures, videos and more about our mission trip and people could receive notification of them instantly.

Why isn't there something like this just for missions?

After that experience of raising support, God started giving me the vision for HelpSendMe - a site where anyone going on a short-term mission trip or in full-time missions can easily and quickly raise support for their mission and keep supporters up-to-date with what God is doing through their ministry. It's also a central place where anyone wanting to support missions can come and find missionaries to support, encourage, and follow.

We can't wait to see how God is going to use HelpSendMe to further His Kingdom!
